Energy Saving

The reduction of energy costs is important to every business and organization.

Sentor has worked with a number of clients to save electricity and reduce the running costs at their premises.

A recent installation has included the replacement of 155 High Bay fittings with high efficiency, high output PL fittings, controlled with lux sensors, which only switch the lights on when the lighting levels fall below a preset level. This achieved significant saving for the customer.

On another project ,we installed movement sensors in a storage area where the lights were permanently on.  This achieves a considerable saving on running costs and extends the life of the lamps and fittings.

Some of the projects qualify for interest free loans from the Carbon Trust www.carbontrust.com and have also achieved a payback period  of less than two years. Sentor can assist with calculating the energy savings and the application process for the loan.
